I’m aware that no one reads this blog but I just wanted it out there… we’re pregnant. EDD: 08/09/09, lets hope he or she is always fashionably late like the Mama and arrives at 09/09/09 (after April Fool’s Day, that’s just a date you can’t forget!).

We’ve made it to a year! There were times I wanted to kill R and he wanted to kill me right back. For now, we’re good and aiming on getting even better.

I’m at the airport waiting to get on the flight to NZ so this will be a short one, the wedding went kinda as planned. Thanks to everyone who helped out and everyone who came. There were a few cheap charlies and some Precious Moments …sigh… but yeah, we’re happy most had fun.

In less than 24 hours, I’m gonna be a Mrs…. I’m still not ready, I haven’t packed my bags, I haven’t finish writing my speech. Trying to keep the stress levels down… The only thing I’m proud of is sticking with the noon mass cos seriously I hate waking up before 7.3o am!

Let’s see the groom has a headache and is very tired and grumpy. My slideshow crashed so Ann has to work OT. I hate pale peach roses and the helpers are gonna be wearing them… I can only thank god that I got my way and got my blooms from Olive 3 (thanks Mommy)!! The parents are tired but they’ve been super easy going and I’m grateful that they’re paying for the flowers and reception. I’ve collected my gowns and I’m content. I’m not bloated or PMSing neither have I gone spotty but I haven’t exercised ALL week, shame. Can’t think of anything else…. I must go shower, pack my bags and then sit still, finish my speech and watch Shark. Must sleep by 1am!

2 more days…. so many more things to do, people to meet…. oh dear.

Meet Aunts, go to the dentist, wax on wax off, get my wedding gown, do place cards, I’m sure I’m forgetting stuff!

I’m less than 3 days away from getting married to Ms M and I’ve upped and gone gay. Spent a leave day (and some) shopping for baking products and a pink tie. Spent the last 7 hours helping make sugee cupcakes. I’ve had a whiff of the dark side, errm the other side and I’m not gay or happy. Can’t wait for the honeymoon; mountains, rivers, trees, the great ocean air will do me a whole lot of good, but please no rainbows.

My home smells like Christmas, the weather feels like Christmas… I love Christmas.

Anyways, the mother has been busy making Sugee Cupcakes and it was LOVELY coming home to the smell of brandy and butter! Till this day, I haven’t had better sugee cake…heck, nobody elses has come close. Today and tomorrow I’ll be busy decorating them. How to get the 3 gym sessions in this week? But I must, cos I LOVE Sugee and I still need to fit into the dress….maybe if I only eat cake, nothing else, would that work?

Oh, I brought home my evening dress, I love it, not too excited about the train/ trail whatever it’s called… but yeah, love the colour and the BLING!!

ROM Swearing In today, no idea what to expect but I hear it’s not a big deal.

4 more days and I’m so tired!

5 days more to till the end of my fabulous single life! I know it hasn’t always been happy happy joy joy but those 3 years of being single, carefree and independent helped me get stronger, realize my flaws and in the end made me a little more easy going. Yes, I’m still Miz Princess SupAstar but I’m much easier to deal with… of course Allen will disagree.

Allen knows how hard I struggle with the idea fact what whatever I do now has consequences that affect the both of us, that I have to check (not ask) just check what he hasn’t made plans for the both of us before I plan a night out with the girls etc, that I have savings for our future (I forsee, less shoes, darn it).

I do have little panic attacks, the rest of your life with someone who thinks that farts under the covers are funny, wet toilets floors, pull my finger jokes and the nagging about my finances (which I usually let Angie handle) … it’s a huge step and I really really don’t want to get married ever again!! So sometimes, when I watch him sleep (yeah, I’m spooky like that) I think to myself… how the hell do I know this is gonna work, he’s cute and all but… ohmygawd…. it’s a lifetime, then I hug him and it doesn’t matter how late or how tired he is, he ALWAYS hugs back. That’s when I know I’ve made the right decision.

Okay, to be honest, money is always preferred, simply because we’re pretty much funding the celebration ourselves with some help from the folks and it would ease our pain and help me enjoy throwing Allen and myself off a cliff in NZ. Glad that’s off my chest.

However, I’d never ever have the audacity to say no to a present . The problem is, is that I’m a tad bit fussy so here’s a guide… no teddy bears, no Precious Moments… no girlie-cutie-pie stuff. You can’t go wrong with black/ dark brown photo frames, funky tableware from Tangs or the like, candles which remind me of an island getaway, glassware to toast to everlasting happiness maybe a ball and chain for Allen and a whip for me. hur hur hur.
